Apple has formally announced the pricing and availability of its new
iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models for more regions including India. The
Apple iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available on November 1 in India.
The iPhone 5c will be offered in two models - Rs 41,900 for 16 GB and Rs
53,500 for 32 GB. A new iPhone 4S model will be offered at Rs 31,500
for 8 GB. Do note that the all the iPhone models will be offered
unlocked. As reported by The Mobile Indian earlier, the iPhone models
will be offered by Bharti Airtel and RCom in India from November 1 as
well.
The iPhone 5C has a 4-inch Retina IPS panel
display with great viewing angles and supports multi-touch. By default,
this display has 1136x640 pixel resolution and offers pixel density of
326 pixels per inch. Apple has offered 800:1 contrast ratio for this
display and has used finger-print resistant oleophobic coating on the
touchscreen.
